Fun Crafts to do with Shark Coloring Pages
Shark coloring pages are not only fun to color but can also be used to make cool crafts. Once your finish coloring, check out these creative ideas to give your creations a new life.
1. Shark Shadow Puppets
To make shark shadow puppets, start by carefully cutting out the colored shark images from your coloring pages. Next, cut out matching shark shapes from black construction paper or cardstock, which will act as a background to enhance the colors. Attach the colored sharks to the black paper cutouts using glue or double-sided tape. Secure craft sticks to the bottom of each shark shape with tape for handles. For added durability, cover the back of the shark shapes with clear tape or contact paper. Now that your shadow puppets are done, you can have fun playing with them on an improvised stage!
2. Shark Mobile
For a shark-themed mobile, start by trimming the colored shark images from your pages. Cut several pieces of string or fishing line, each about 12 to 18 inches long. Use a hole puncher to make small holes at the top of each shark cutout, then thread the string through these holes and secure the ends with knots. Tie the other ends of the strings to a coat hanger or an embroidery hoop, making sure to space the sharks evenly. You can add decorative elements like beads or shells for extra flair. After you put it together, hang your mobile in a chosen spot, such as above a bed or in a play area, or offer it as a baby shower gift!
3. Shark-Themed Greeting Cards
This is a great one for kids who are in school. Children can fold blank cardstock or pre-made blank cards in half to create the card bases. They can glue a colored shark image onto the front of each card and personalize it with additional decorations such as stickers, markers, or hand-drawn designs. Personalized messages can be written inside the cards for various occasions like birthdays or thank-yous. The children can place the finished cards in envelopes and send them out to parents or relatives. These custom shark cards are the best present a parent could wish for!
